listen to the universe
to the low continuous drone
to the pulse of her underbelly
listen to her blood thin
-star burst-
while she breeds to cope
listen as she crawls
through aeons of time
through vacuum
through fertile soils
she too, like us, draws
her inspiration from love
she too, like us, seeks
a he
listen to the universe
and the counter-universe
